Carrol Castello coaches clients to realize their dreams.
"Having another person to keep you on track really accelerates you to achieve goals," entrepreneur Carol Castello says.
Through her company, Dreams 4 Life Coaching Service (www.Dreams4Life.ca), Castello works with business professionals between the ages of 25 and 40 who want to achieve greater career and personal success.
"Our coaching programs are designed to develop a client's leadership, communication and organizational skills," Castello says.
Castello says she started her business to "erase obstacles" many people face. "Some people feel overwhelmed, unorganized, and unfocused in their lives," she says. "A person may have clear life goals -- such as running a marathon, getting that promotion, finding true love or starting a business -- but feel they are held back by time, money, career, health and relationship obstacles.
"We will design a custom action plan based on each client's goals and unique challenges, and then work with them to achieve those goals," she says.
Despite the long hours, Castello couldn't be happier running her own small business. "I'm lucky because I get to achieve my dreams by helping others achieve theirs," she says.
Not surprisingly, her advice to startups includes getting some outside counsel. "A mentor will show you the path to success and help you to avoid a lot of headaches."
Future plans for Dreams 4 Life include developing seminars on organizational, communication, and leadership skills for her target market. Castello also plans to stretch her wings into international markets by teaming up with coaches in foreign lands.
"I'm very passionate about seeing other people achieve their goals, so there's really no limit to wheremy business can grow," she says.
