RIVERVIEW, N.B. - A deal between Bell Canada and the ICT Group is expected to create up to 550 jobs in New Brunswick.
Details are to be announced by company and provincial government officials Thursday in Riverview, N.B. A government source tells The Canadian Press the province will provide training assistance for each new position, but the amount won't be revealed until the announcement.
The source says the employees will be trained to provide technical assistance for Bell customers.
Most of the jobs will be located at call centres in Riverview and Saint John, with some in Miramichi.
ICT currently employs more than 900 people in its three New Brunswick locations including jobs already created in support of Bell Canada.
